Logan and Alabama

Something simple and plain was the order for this birthday boy. And what do you know, he's a big Alabama fan. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing or simply put, white on white. The footballs were made of our modeling chocolate and it served about 25 people. Hope you have a good one Logan!

"Have your cake and eat it too"

This cake served double duty. A mom that wanted a cake to munch on and two kids who wanted it their way. This is our solution to the problem. A golf ball for the boy and a cell phone for the girl. A vanilla cake with buttercream icing, this cake serves about 12-14 people.

These two boys couldn't agree on one design so...... ta da! Frosty the Snowman on one corner and Spongebob on the other, and everybody's happy. This is also a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves 12-14 people.

Alabama Football Groom's Cake

This cake is a different one for us, because it was a request for yellow cake and chocolate buttercream instead of the usual white cake and vanilla buttercream. This Alabama football is for a very special day for Piercie and Jamie -- their wedding. It's two-layers, serves about 35 people, and is topped with stripes, laces, and an Alabama "A" all made with our homemade fondant. We wish the young couple the best, and we hope you have a wonderful day.

Pink and Brown Bridal Shower

We had a good time at the shower for our nephew Piercie and his fiance' Jamie. We wish them the best in all they choose to do. This was a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The stripes and dots were made of homemade modeling chocolate and is turning out to be more popular with us than fondant. Served about 40-45 people. Congratulations Piercie and Jamie!

This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 25 people. From Freddy Kruger, to Goosebumps, to Transformers, Michael zeroed in on this classic cartoon character. Hope you have a "fun" birthday.

Baby Shower Onesie

We just love the way this one turned out. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and homemade modeling chocolate. We absolutely loved the way the chocolate could be manipulated and it tastes just like a tootsie roll. This is one of our favorites. Congratulations Crystal and Riley! (Serves about 45 people)

Backyard Cookie

Okay......I don't know why, but for some reason Katie Beth wanted her birthday cookie to look like her backyard. Well.....here is our attempt to make that happen. This is a chocolate chip cookie with buttercream icing which displays her swing set, trampoline and yes...complete with two dogs in the back, Bone and Sam and a little snow on the ground.  Happy Birthday Katie Beth, we love you!

Frosty Cake and Snowflake cookies

This is what was left of  Frosty before we thought to take a picture. He's long gone now. Our Snowflake cookies are also gone.  Merry Christmas and blessings to all from "The Dessert Box".

Chocolate Lover's Groom's Cake

This cake is definitely the one for all chocolate lovers. This 3-tiered groom's cake was all chocolate. Each tier had four layers of chocolate cake and our yummy, rich chocolate buttercream icing. We topped the cake with bride and groom strawberries and a chocolate monogrammed letter, and dressed the sides with dozens more chocolate-dipped strawberries. This cake feeds about 120 people. We hope you enjoy this cake and we wish the happy couple the best.

Snowflake

This cake was for a Christmas themed bridal shower and so we went with the green background and white snowflake. It was a vanilla/buttercream cake and served 40 people. Congratulations Traycie and Angelia!

Zoe's Baptism/Christening

We celebrated the baptism/christening of our little Zoe in Snellville, GA.  It was a special service at a very beautiful Catholic church and the service was conducted by Zoe's Papa Byrne. The cake was our usual vanilla cake/buttercream icing and served about 30 people. We love you Zoe Jane.

Rising Star Jacie

Jacie, like most 6 year-old girls, loves Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus. She couldn't decide which celeb would be the "ONE" to focus her birthday cake on. So we decided that no girl should have to make that huge decision and made her cake about Jacie and all her favorite girls. In our book, Jacie is a "rising star" and on this cake she takes center stage. The two-layered top tier is topped with a picture of the birthday girl, and following the rising star theme, we shaped the bottom, single-layered tier as such. A picture of Carrie, Taylor, and Miley grace the sides with their appearance. The entire cake was all vanilla: vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. We hope your birthday was as spectacular as you are, rising star Jacie!!

"Baby Blue" Shower Cake

This was a double layered, two tiered, stacked vanilla cake w/buttercream icing. The stripes and polka dots are made of homemade fondant-the initials and baby strollers are made of milk chocolate. It served about 40 people. Thanks Cassandra, we loved doing this cake.

Over The Hill #3

This is a popular "Over The Hill" cake for us. This makes #3 of this particular design. Although there are very slight differences in all three cakes, this one serves 25 like the second one. We used our popular vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. The train, cars, and signs are all of homemade fondant. We hope you have a happy 50th birthday! Enjoy!!!
