Polka Dots

This is a tribute to my oldest granddaughter, Carly. She was nine years old, and told me precisely how she wanted the cake and precisely the colors she wanted. Iwas a little unsure when she first saw the cake because gave me the details over the phone. She had a blouse that had these colors, and she loved them - so she brought out her blouse and showed me (after I had made the cake)and said,"Grandma, it's perfect!"(Whew) Anyway, this was a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The bow was a mixture of all four colors and made of fondant. This cake would serve about 65 to 75 people.

Mustache Cake

Happy Birthday to my oldest granddaughter Carly, she's a teenager!! The craze goin' round now is mustaches. So...a mustache themed birthday party, well I should say 'surprise birthday party'. There was about 50 to 55 people there and probably half of those were kids, and most of the kids were teenagers. It was great. Shawn and Misty did a great job on the party and keeping it a secret from Carly.
The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing and serves about 65. The chevron, mustaches, polka dots and 13 are all made from modeling chocolate. We had a wonderful time and missed the rest of the family in GA who couldn't make it.
Happy Birthday to our gorgeous teenager Carly!! We love you so much!!

WWE and Ian

Ian is nine! He loves or maybe just likes wrestling and that's what he got on his cake. Although I think he enjoyed lighting the candles more than blowing them out.
This is a strawberry cake with buttercream icing. Happy Birthday Ian! Love you bunches!

Lightning McQueen and Mickey Mouse

Tucker loves 'Cars' and 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse'. So how do you choose? As far as a four year old is concerned, compromise isn't an option. Both had to be on his cake. He wanted chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing.

Monkey Butt

Okay the title "Monkey Butt" is a nickname for Timber. Which I think was given to her by her daddy. I am very late with this post cause Timber is already 4 months old.
This is the best pic I have of the cake which is 2 tiers of vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The decorations are modeling chocolate, the monkey is rice krispy treats covered with modeling chocolate. Served about 65.

Heather's Easter Cupcakes

These are 24 vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing. Twelve were topped with egg shaped chocolate molds and decorated with icing. Turned out cute Heather!

Happy 50th Dian!

Chrissy, Candace and their grandmother surprised Dian, their mother, with a party to celebrate her birthday. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 25. Happy Birthday Dian! I think it's a great tribute to parents when their children remember their birthday and want to celebrate the occasion. Way to go girls
I know Dian is so moved by your thoughtfulness.

Tenley's First Birthday

First birthdays are always so special. So for Tenley brightly colored butterflies was just right. This is a white cake with buttercream icing and serves 40. And of course a smash cake all for the birthday girl. We love you Shelley and Tenley and Jacie , Big T, and Clay

Seth's Grooms Cake

Yep,Seth loves to duck hunt, so his mom and sisters wanted to honor that for him. This is four tiers of green velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream icing. The cat tails are rice krispie treats dipped in chocolate and dusted with cocoa powder. Congratulations and have a wonderful life together.

Colby's Grooms Cake

Four tiered dark chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. And to top it off, chocolate shavings. Serves 175. Congratulations Colby!! We wish you and Courtney the best. Love you Muriel.

Carly's Animal Cell Cake

This was Carly's science project of an animal cell. Vanilla cake with buttercream icing. Serves 20. Great job Carly!!!

Zoe is 3!!!

Sorry, poor picture quality off my cell phone. This is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing and decorations are made from modeling chocolate. Our sweet Zoe loves Toy Story, I think she's partial to Woody and Jessie, so I threw in Bullseye for good measure. Can't wait to celebrate her birthday tomorrow. Serves about 40. Happy 16th Birthday Olivia!

This is a two tiered, stacked chocolate and vanilla cake covered with fluff and zebra print. The bow is out of modeling chocolate and of course the number '16' right on top. Serves about 65. Happy Birthday sweet Olivia! We love you! Thanks Kim and Scotty, love you too.

Thirty-five butter cookies for a group of very energetic girls. Iced with royal icing and personalized. Doing a good job Kim!

Drew's Wedding

The Crimson Tide has so many fans it's ridiculous! Yet another houndstooth cake for another Alabama fan. Drew and Miranda exchanged vows Friday, September 21th at Jean's on the River in Carbon Hill and he wanted Bear Bryant's houndstooth hat and so this is how it turned out. This is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and the houndstooth and feather are made from our modeling chocolate. If I have calculated it right there are 263 houndstooth pieces on this cake. It was a big hit with the bride and groom and so glad they loved it. Serves about 50. Congratulations Drew and Miranda! Hope your life is filled with richness of love and an abundance of happiness. We love you both. Good job Darlene with the decorations of his table, it looked great.
