Wizard's of Waverly Place

I think Maggie's favorite color is purple. Last year's cake was a purple Hanna Montana and this year a purple Wizard's of Waverly Place. This cake is two layers  (one vanilla and one chocolate) topped with buttercream icing.  One dozen vanilla cupcakes and one dozen chocolate cupcakes iced with buttercream and the stars, wands and the #7 are made from modeling chocolate. Baby On The Way

Celebrating a forth-coming birth  is one of the happiest occassions to get together. For this baby shower a chocolate cake with buttercream icing and details in modeling chocolate. This cake serves about 25. Thanks Sara and congratulations of the new addition.

Dixie's Multicolor Peace Sign Cake

This is a picture that Charity drew for us to go by

and Dixie wanted a multicolor retro look topped off with a multicolor peace sign. This cake is a two-layer vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, including decorations on the cake, and serves 25-30. The stars and name are made with royal icing (a new way to do these for us). We actually angled the top layer to have the topsy-turvy look. Happy birthday, Dixie, and thanks Charity.

Sparkling Princess Cookies

Princess Isabelle wanted to celebrate her birthday with her friends by sharing 3 dozen sparkling princess tiaras/crowns. These are our buttery sugar cookies iced in white, rose, and lilac, and decorated with alternating colors. The picture doesn't do justice to the pearl dusting powder on each cookie, just to make them shimmer for the adorable little princesses that would soon devour them! Kinley and Minnie

Kinley is 2! The question was, Elmo or Minnie Mouse? Well... you guessed it! A vanilla cake with buttercream icing, and the ears, bow, banner and retro hearts are made with fondant (serves 35). One dozen each of Minnie and Mickey butter cookies with royal icing round out the celebration. Happy birthday, Kinley! Thanks Danielle and Diana.



Hunting for a Cure

"Hunting for a Cure" is the theme this year at First State Bank for "Relay for Life". Three dozen butter cookies with camo icing with a hunters orange ribbon symbol to raise awareness for cancer.

First Sate Bank

Heather works at First State Bank in MS and wanted to treat her co-workers to some dessert. So we decided to put the bank's logo on the cake for decoration.  This is a strawberry cake with buttercream icing and serves 25. Hope you enjoy it! Love you Heather!

Lego Blocks

The huge birthday celebration for Ian (7) and Tucker (2) was a big hit! We made a green LEGO cake for Ian and a yellow LEGO cake for Tucker. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing that serves 100 and about 65 mini cupcakes with mini LEGO blocks made of modeling chocolate (all hand-cut). A bean bag toss game, donut eating contest and a LEGO pinata that Holly handmade rounded out the day. We all had lots and lots of fun! Happy birthday Ian and Tucker, we love you very much!!

Wedding Cake Cookies

Our butter cookies with royal icing is just the thing for this bridal shower. Fifty cookies and a shower to celebrate the upcoming wedding for the bride and groom. Congratulations Rebecca!

Katie Beth's Cake

Katie Beth was at Disney World on her birthday this year but when she comes to Grandma's house, baking is on the list of things to do. She loves to bake cakes and decorate them. I think she's coming along beautifully. She made a vanilla cake with buttercream icing, a cupcake on top and modeling chocolate for the monkey. Great job Katie Beth and Happy 8th Birthday, we love you!

Alabama Football

Berry Honor Society

Congratulations to the members of the Berry Honor Society for their hard work and dedication to their studies. This is a red velvet cake with buttercream icing and the emblem is made from our modeling chocolate. Serves 100. Good job and keep it up!

Zebra Print and Pink Cake

This is our latest cake for this weekend. Zebra print with pink is very popular with the girls this year, and it's exactly how this girl wanted to kick off her years as a teenager. This cake is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and is decorated with black mint modeling chocolate. There are 56 servings in this two-tiered cake. Hope you enjoy, and thank you, Cindy!

Wrestling with John Cena

Two layers of vanilla cake and buttercream icing is just the beginning of this round. The sides are covered with modeling chocolate and also the posts. Trace aka "Big T", has gotten into wrestling just lately and hince the wrestling rink, John Cena was the  wrestler he wanted on his cake. Happy Birthday "Big T" we love you! (Serves 50)
