Fru-Fru Cake

This was suppose to be a "fru-fru" cake, whatever that means. We took it to be cutesie but adult cutesie. So zebra stripes and a contrasting color was what we came up with. This is a three layer, stacked cake that serves 33-35 people. It's our vanilla cake and buttercream icing the number and bow are made of our modeling chocolate. Happy Birthday Summer!

Berry Wildcats

Sports, sports, and more sports! Volleyball, softball, baseball, football, basketball, and cheerleading-all accounted for on this cake that serves 54. It's a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and the sport decals are made from our modeling chocolate. Hope everyone had a good time at the Athletic Banquet. Thanks Donna!

Hello Kitty Cake & Lollipop Cookies

The more I do Hello Kitty cakes, and party favors, the more I like this cute little character. I owe my "girlie" experience to three adorable neices. What girl don't like Hello Kitty?! The cake is 40-45 servings, and is our popular vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream icing. The bow, eyes, nose, and whiskers are all made from homemade modeling chocolate. Three dozen lollipop cookies were handed out as favors, instead of the usual candy bag. They're our usual butter cookies, iced in royal icing, individually bagged, and tied with cute little pink or white ribbons. Thanks for allowing us to do this, Lindsay! Happy Birthday Ally!!

Simple Elegance

There's not a more elegant and simple look than black and white. Six dozen mini butter cookies and a cake for 40 was what was needed to show a couple how much their friends cared for them. This cake is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and the initials are made of homemade modeling chocolate. The butter cookies are iced with royal icing with the letter "T" on each. Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks Tasha, we love you.

"Sweet Sixteen"

This cake was for a special young lady on her 16th birthday. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and the circles and dots are made of modeling chocolate, serves 54. Happy Birthday Hannah! Thanks Maryalice.

Logan Tide's Baby Shower Cake

What a huge fan of the Crimson Tide this boy will be, that is if he takes after his daddy. But for now, little monkeys decorate his room, which was the inspiration for this cake. This is a butter cake with buttercream icing and all the detail on top is made from our modeling chocolate. Hope you love it Kalah and Jonathan, congratulations. Thanks Sandy, we love you.

Katie Beth's Cake

Kate Beth is Carly's 7 year old sister and our second granddaughter. She was urged by Carly to go to grandmas house to spend the night since Carly was having older girls at their house. So...off to grandmas. Katie Beth wanted to bake a cake and decorate it. She done an awesome job. Way to go Katie! I'm very proud of you!

Big "Ten" Birthday

My oldest granddaughter, Carly, is growing up so fast. But she is a typical girl. She changed her mind several times before deciding on this design. She wanted zebra print on bottom and pink on top with the peace symbol in black. Pink border on bottom and black border on top. The cake was vanilla cake with buttercream icing. Everything in black is made with modeling chocolate and the #10 is made of dyed white chocolate. Everyone had a great time, Can you imagine the noise level with several ten year old girls in the same room? Happy Birthday Carly! We love you! Good job Shawn and Misty. Serves 40 people.  A word to the wise....chocolate will melt if the candles are placed to close it, as is evident in the lower picture .  

Baseball Season

These cookies are just right for a bunch of boys who are to busy to stop for cake. So...baseball cookies are the perfect choice. These are 3 dozen sugar cookies with royal icing and the birthday boy's number on them. Hope you love 'em. Happy Birthday Levi! Thanks Angie.

Isabelle's Nemo Cake

Connor's Baby Sesame Street Cake

 What better way to celebrate a first birthday than with the bright colors of Connor's buddies from Sesame Street. This cake is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 25 people, and Cookie Monster is munchin' on his favorite, a chocolate chip cookie. Connor gets his very own cake that we refer to as a "smash cake" to tear into. Happy Birthday Connor!

Beach Wedding Cake / Keller Wedding

This cake makes me want to take a trip to the beach. This intimate beach-themed wedding cake is vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream, and is two layers of cake in each tier. The seashells on the cake are handmade from our homemade modeling chocolate, and dusted with edible dusting powders, and the starfish on top represent the bride and groom. There's also some piping detail on the sides of the cake. This cake serves about 40 people. We spread brown sugar around the bottom of the cake, to resemble sand, and placed a few of the family's own collection of seashells in the sugar. We loved making this cake, and wish the happy couple a long and prosperous life together. Thanks to Beth, for allowing us to make this and the groom's cake for their special day.

Chocolate Strawberry Groom's Cake / Keller Wedding

Chocolate and strawberries.... a classic combination. This groom's cake was covered and surrounded in over 5 dozen chocolate-dipped strawberries, and was even topped off with strawberry bride and groom representations and a solid chocolate monogram of the new bride's and groom's last name. Chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream was used to satisfy the sweet tooth of the families at this wedding. This cake serves about 50 people, and is served on our handmade cake stand. We hope this cake is as fun to eat as is was to make. Congratulations, Paul and Allie, and special thanks to Beth.

Maggie's "Hannah Montana" Cake

Girl you're getting so big! Growing up is fun, especially when you love celebrating special occassions with family and friends. Maggie loves Hannah Montana, and what a good way to invite Hannah to your birthday party and know for a fact that she'll be there. The cake's top layer just had to be chocolate for Mags, the bottom is vanilla and both are covered with our vanilla buttercream icing. The stars, banner and #6 are all made of our homemade fondant and dusted with pearl luster dust, to make them shine, and the blue background is made of homemade modeling chocolate. The microphone is sculpted from rice krispy treats and covered in modeling chocolate. You look adorable Maggie. Happy Birthday! Thanks, Tasha it was fun.

Kinley and "Hello Kitty"

Kinley's first birthday, wow it doesn't seem like it's been a year. Seems like it was just a few days ago when we did her baby shower cake. The "Hello Kitty" cake serves about 50 people and is vanilla with buttercream icing. Her "smash cake" is the same flavor and has the #1 that's made of white chocolate.
