Addison's first birthday cake! Time flies by when you're raising a family. This is a two layered, two tiered vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The bow, stripes, and polka dots are made of homemade fondant. The small cake is her "smash" cake. Can't wait to see the pictures. Thanks Jennifer for letting us help celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday Addison!

Pink Homerun
Accessories Feel Good
My son Cory called and ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing for Kimberly his wife (and now my daughter) for her birthday. He gave us the opportunity to decorate as we saw fit. So thinking about Kimberly made us think of purses, shoes, and make-up, you know, girly stuff or what we call "accessories". We all love accessories and knew she would love the idea. The accessories were made of fondant. Thanks Kimberly for sharing your night with us and your cake. Happy Birthday and we love you! Had a good weekend with ya'll.

21st Celebration
This birthday cake is for a 21st celebration. This delicious cake is super-moist chocolate cake with a milk chocolate buttercream icing. It's three layers feeds about 35 people. We iced the sides with striped detail in the buttercream and decorated it with a modeling chocolate "21" on top, and the same modeling chocolate squares on the sides. We hope you guys enjoy this cake. Thanks, Connie and Tasha. Happy birthday, Chris!
Ian's "Yoshi" Cake
What a week! Ian's and Tucker's birthdays are four days apart so Holly decided to do a combo party and it worked out really well. Ian's favorite nintendo game is Super Mario. He loves Yoshi, hence the cake. The cake was vanilla with buttercream icing covered with homemade fondant. Yoshi was sculpted out of rice krispy treats and covered in our homemade modeling chocolate. I thought the rice krispies would be stale but the chocolate kept them moist and they were awesome. We are very tired but very proud of this first time job with rice krispy treats in a 3-D figure. Happy Birthday Ian! You're 6 and growing up so fast. We love you very much!
Tucker's "Present" Cake
This is the first attempt at covering a cake with fondant. It turned out pretty good and the fondant gives a sharp clean look. It also keeps the cake inside really moist. It was a three layer vanilla cake with buttercream icing covered in homemade fondant. The decorations were made of fondant and modeling chocolate. The other cake is a "smash cake" for Tucker to tear into. It was a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. Happy Birthday Tucker! We love you so much!

Clark/Ingle Football Field
Lawson and Zack are good friends and decided to do a joint birthday party this year. Since both are big Alabama fans, what better way to celebrate than with an Alabama football field decked out with jersey's, goal posts and a football. The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing-the endzones and jerseys are made of homemade modeling chocolate- the names and goal posts are made of white chocolate and the football is out of homemade fondant. This cake serves 80 people. We hope you guys really love the cake. Happy Birthday! Thanks Angie.

Peace Cake
How about a trip back to the 70's. Bandanna's, tie-dye, and the peace sign. This little girl loves the neon colors and they fit just right with the peace sign. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The sides of the cake has "love", "peace", and "happiness", which is fitting for that era. Happy Birthday Makala! Thanks April.

Rose Birthday Cake
This is the redo of the Rosette Cake below that was posted this morning. After careful consideration and staring at the Rosette Cake, we decided that we went over board on the decorations. So the only thing we could do was to scrape it all off and start over. The finished product is the "Rose Cake" which looks much better than the one below. We hope you like it too. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 25 people. Happy Birthday Wendy!

Karlee proves that you can have your cake and eat it too! Atta girl-she really knows how it's done. Couldn't resist putting this on our blog. Thanks Angie for sharing this with us.
