The band around the bottom of each tier, the broaches, the topper, and the studs were not edible. The pearls were Sixlet candies dusted with pearl dust.

Wildcats In Town

This is a red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream icing with the wildcat head and paws made from fluff. Another blunder on the paws. I'm told that tiger paws have three toes and wildcats have four. Well...over the years these 1973 'Cats' have lost a few!(lol).

This is my brother Spurgeon's graduating class plus some cousins and friends. So glad y'all got to celebrate.

Oops!!

 Well it's not that I don't know how to spell, I just didn't notice. I wasn't gonna post this one because of the blunder but you gotta show the good, the bad, and the ugly. None of my creations are perfect anyway which is far less stressful on me in the long run. Here goes.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Macy is cute, sweet, and grown up for her age. She's also a good baseball player! This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 55. Go Wildcats!!

Jimbo and Amanda

This was for Kalah who wanted to celebrate the marriage of her dad to his new wife. 

This is a yellow cake withe buttercream icing, sashes are made if royal icing and 'K' out of modeling chocolate. Serves 65. Thanks Kalah and congratulations Jimbo and Amanda. 

Polka Dots

This is a tribute to my oldest granddaughter, Carly. She was nine years old, and told me precisely how she wanted the cake and precisely the colors she wanted. Iwas a little unsure when she first saw the cake because gave me the details over the phone. She had a blouse that had these colors, and she loved them - so she brought out her blouse and showed me (after I had made the cake)and said,"Grandma, it's perfect!"(Whew) Anyway, this was a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The bow was a mixture of all four colors and made of fondant. This cake would serve about 65 to 75 people.

Mustache Cake

Happy Birthday to my oldest granddaughter Carly, she's a teenager!! The craze goin' round now is mustaches. So...a mustache themed birthday party, well I should say 'surprise birthday party'. There was about 50 to 55 people there and probably half of those were kids, and most of the kids were teenagers. It was great. Shawn and Misty did a great job on the party and keeping it a secret from Carly.
The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing and serves about 65. The chevron, mustaches, polka dots and 13 are all made from modeling chocolate. We had a wonderful time and missed the rest of the family in GA who couldn't make it.
Happy Birthday to our gorgeous teenager Carly!! We love you so much!!

WWE and Ian

Ian is nine! He loves or maybe just likes wrestling and that's what he got on his cake. Although I think he enjoyed lighting the candles more than blowing them out.

Lightning McQueen and Mickey Mouse

Tucker loves 'Cars' and 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse'. So how do you choose? As far as a four year old is concerned, compromise isn't an option. Both had to be on his cake. He wanted chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing.

Monkey Butt

Okay the title "Monkey Butt" is a nickname for Timber. Which I think was given to her by her daddy. I am very late with this post cause Timber is already 4 months old.
This is the best pic I have of the cake which is 2 tiers of vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The decorations are modeling chocolate, the monkey is rice krispy treats covered with modeling chocolate. Served about 65.

Heather's Easter Cupcakes

These are 24 vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing. Twelve were topped with egg shaped chocolate molds and decorated with icing. Turned out cute Heather!

Happy 50th Dian!

Chrissy, Candace and their grandmother surprised Dian, their mother, with a party to celebrate her birthday. This is a vanilla cake with buttercream icing and serves about 25. Happy Birthday Dian! I think it's a great tribute to parents when their children remember their birthday and want to celebrate the occasion. Way to go girls

Yep,Seth loves to duck hunt, so his mom and sisters wanted to honor that for him. This is four tiers of green velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream icing. The cat tails are rice krispie treats dipped in chocolate and dusted with cocoa powder. Congratulations and have a wonderful life together.

Colby's Grooms Cake
