We have been decorating cakes for a while now. We're still new at it but love the practice! We'll post cakes as we finish them, so check back often!

Fox Racing cake
This grooms cake was vanilla and buttercream icing, and the outline in fondant. It served 60-70 people. The groom is a big fan of Fox Racing and we were happy to accommodate him.
To answer the previously asked question "was this easy to make?": This cake involved knowledge in carving a 2D image out of cake, icing a rough edge of the cake, and working with modeling chocolate. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult techniques, I would rate this entire cake's level of difficulty as a 3-4.
oh dang.
ReplyDeleteIm obsessed with fox racing. like its my addiction forsure.! & i think this cake is supper mondo' gorgeous. its my fave colors to=]
how much did that cost
ReplyDeleteOur carved cakes (or what we consider 2D or character cakes) are between $1.25-$1.50 per serving. It really depends on the particular cake.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliment. We actually only do cakes and desserts for family now. This is a recent decision. Thanks, again.
